What Are Your Relationship Issues?

My husband once said to me that he thought marriage should be easier than is. He gave me examples of a few couples that he assumed had no relationship issues. One example he sed was his grandparents. He told me that they always got along and he never saw them be anything but loving with each other. He was convinced they had never had a fight or disagreement throughout their long marriage. I didnt mean to laugh at him, but I knew that he was dead wrong. He saw them twice a year, and thought that he could gage the state of their marriage on these short and far between viss.

The truth of the matter is that everyone has relationship issues, but some are better at hiding than others. My husband and I are both very private, but when we recently went through a rough patch, he took our relationship issues outside of our marriage by complaining to everyone we know. As we worked things out and decided that our marriage is stronger than we thought, he now regrets having opened up to everyone else about our problems when he should have been talking with me. He may have been too open, but he doesnt understand that many others are not. They make look easy but never is.

One of the biggest relationship issues out there is communication. In fact, if you list your issues and think about them, communication problems are usually the root. Communication is easy when you are first in love and first married, because most of is posive. When comes time to discuss relationship issues as time goes on, some conversations can be unpleasant. This is usually when communication breaks down. Whout being able to talk to each other about the good and the bad, the issues in relationships will never go away, and in fact may grow so large they damage the union for good.

If you are feeling out of sorts with your marriage or your partnership, you should s down and really think about what your real relationship issues are and where they come from. If you have a hard time talking about them with your partner, find another way to say what is on your mind. My brother and his wife find easier to wre letters to each other, and these letters contain the good and the bad. It works well for them, and may work for you. No matter how you choose to deal with the issues in relationships, the important thing is that you do . Even the strongest love will falter when the issues get too big, and the partners refuse to talk to each other. It might be uncomfortable to express these feelings, but is the best thing you can do for your relationship.
