Most people with a queen size bed will look for a comforter of the same size. This makes sense, but there are times when a queen size bedspread is not going to be enough. I have a full size bed, and I have a queen size comforter because of the way that I sleep. Though the queen will do well for most people, anyone who knows they have odd sleeping habits might just want to get one size larger than their bed size to ensure they get what they need while sleeping.

I have a habit of tucking the queen size bedspread up under my feet while I am sleeping. I also hang on to some of it while I am sleeping, and this always pulls the blankets from my husband. Rather than having a full sized comforter for our full sized bed, I opted to get the queen size bedspread so that we both had a little more blanket to work with while sleeping. If you or your spouse roll around a lot at night, it might also be a great idea to go one size larger. If you have a full size bed, it might be good to get a queen size bedspread. For the queen, maybe look for the king size just to be sure its large enough.

One problem with having a queen size bedspread is finding a way to wash it. Most of them will not fit in a regular size washer, and might have to be taken out or sent out to be cleaned. Though they dont need cleaned weekly for the most part, once a month (at the least) is a good idea. Some of the larger size washers that are out today can handle them, but if you have a smaller washer, or one that is made for apartments, you might have to make other arrangements to get them cleaned regularly.

Finding a great queen size bedspread should not be that hard. There are many in stores, and you can find neat ones over the Internet. There are hundreds of different colors and patterns out there, and you can usually find something that will look good in any room with a little searching. Just remember to look at the care instructions before buying, as some might require dry cleaning. If that is not something you want to mess with, you can move on to something just as nice without the added hassle.
